Launched in 2006 to critical acclaim, the Green Awards were set up to recognise and reward creative work that communicates the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility, sustainable development and ethical best practice in any sector and across any marketing discipline.

Kyocera is proud to have won the Green Award for Best Radio Campaign in 2009, and was also shortlisted for Best Integrated Campaign for its work with Reading Borough Council and Reading 107FM to drive down carbon emissions in the greater Reading area.

The Green Business Awards celebrate excellence in green practice, strategy and products. They seek out and scrutinize the most innovative, ambitious and effective initiatives by UK business for achieving environmental sustainability, and implementing smart business practice.

The Green Business Awards have been recognised as a leading environmental awards scheme by winning accreditation from the Royal Society of Arts (RSA).

The accreditation is an authoritative stamp of approval for Green Business Awards procedures. It also means that future winners of the Green Business Awards will be eligible for entry to the prestigious European Business Awards for the Environment, run by the European Commission.  

The wide coverage of the BCS Awards in trade, national and regional media demonstrates the extent to which IT fundamentally impacts businesses and society.

The BP Environment Project Award is one of the categories within the BCS Project Excellence awards (see above).  The award is aimed at companies who try to create a greener IT industry.

The Building Better Healthcare Awards have been recognising, rewarding and celebrating best practice and world class architecture, design, facilities and estates management in the healthcare built environment for a decade.

Best Ecological Product Award rewards those that produce a healthcare product that does not diminish the natural environment and contributes to sustainable development over its entire life cycle.
