EDIE Awards for Environmental Excellence

This event is the first to recognise and reward the expertise in the field of consultancy that guides the most significant environmental policies and actions in the UK and beyond.

Winning one of these awards gives a company or project a touch of kudos which sets it apart from its peers, making it stand out from the crowd and even acting as a unique selling point.

It also gives staff a justifiable feeling of pride if the quality of their work is recognised by those outside the company.

Green Gown Awards (Higher Education)

The Green Gown Awards recognise positive actions to achieve sustainable higher and further education, with particular emphasis on environmental improvement. They are organised by the Higher Education Environmental Performance Improvement (HEEPI) project, which is funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).

National e-Wellbeing Awards

The National eWell-Being Awards are unique in celebrating the social, economic and environmental benefits of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The aim is to identify and promote the most innovative uses of ICT by local authorities, businesses, third sector organisations and academic institutions.

Green Awards

Launched in 2006 to critical acclaim, the Green Awards were set up to recognise and reward creative work that communicates the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility, sustainable development and ethical best practice in any sector and across any marketing discipline.

Kyocera is proud to have won the Green Award for Best Radio Campaign in 2009, and was also shortlisted for Best Integrated Campaign for its work with Reading Borough Council and Reading 107FM to drive down carbon emissions in the greater Reading area.

Green Business Awards

The Green Business Awards celebrate excellence in green practice, strategy and products. They seek out and scrutinize the most innovative, ambitious and effective initiatives by UK business for achieving environmental sustainability, and implementing smart business practice.

The Green Business Awards have been recognised as a leading environmental awards scheme by winning accreditation from the Royal Society of Arts (RSA).

The accreditation is an authoritative stamp of approval for Green Business Awards procedures. It also means that future winners of the Green Business Awards will be eligible for entry to the prestigious European Business Awards for the Environment, run by the European Commission.  

Observer Ethical Awards

As the idea of cleaner, more responsible living continues to gain ground, the Observer Ethical Awards - now in its third year - have had more entries and a greater range of environmentally aware projects and products than ever before.

Sunday Times Best Green Companies

The Sunday Times Best Green Companies list is the definitive guide to companies with the most radically improved environmental performances. Uniquely, the survey takes account of the views of employees - who got to rate their organisation's green credentials - as well as assessing the environmental performance, policies and practices of businesses.

Frost and Sullivan Green Excellence Award

Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Awards identify exemplary achievements within a multitude of industries and functional disciplines. The analysis on best practices that they conduct identifies companies, products, processes, and executives that have achieved world-class performances. This research is an invaluable source to companies for new ideas to improve strategies and processes, which ultimately drive corporate growth. These achievements are recognized with Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Awards.

BCS Green Organisation Of The Year Award

The wide coverage of the BCS Awards in trade, national and regional media demonstrates the extent to which IT fundamentally impacts businesses and society.

The successful candidates set an example in applying IT best practice to deliver tangible benefits to their organisations and their clients.

The Green Organisation of the Year award enables businesses to demonstrate how IT is helping to reduce their environmental impact.

BP Environment Project Award

The BP Environment Project Award is one of the categories within the BCS Project Excellence awards (see above).  The award is aimed at companies who try to create a greener IT industry.

Best Ecological Product Award

The biggest and most respected awards in the healthcare built environment.

The Building Better Healthcare Awards have been recognising, rewarding and celebrating best practice and world class architecture, design, facilities and estates management in the healthcare built environment for a decade.

Best Ecological Product Award rewards those that produce a healthcare product that does not diminish the natural environment and contributes to sustainable development over its entire life cycle.
